Glock 17: Austrian gun maker Glock shocked the gun world by unveiling a polymer gun in 1980. It's "square" look was met with some apprehension by some, but the lack of protruding parts made it a desireable gun for consealment. Also, durability was not a question after 1million rounds were fired without any major problems. Currently, various military and police agencies around the world are issued this gun.
